The Presidents is a play starring internationally acclaimed actor, comedian, and impersonator Rich Little.

In this poignant drama, Little becomes, with uncanny accuracy, all nine presidents from John F. Kennedy to George W. Bush.

Insightful, touching, and at times hilarious, this theatrical journey through America's last forty years preserves a deep respect for the Oval Office, while dramatically reflecting changes in our country, our culture and ourselves.

In this dazzling two-act, five-actor kaleidoscope, the Commander-in Chief- is joined onstage by the First Ladies (all eight wonderfully played by actress Ginger Grace), and the famous"Second Bananas" (including John Dean, RFK, McNamara, Billy Carter, Carville), news correspondents, pundits, Secret Service agents, field reporters, and "Dell," a fictional hero whose own life is profoundly affected by the all-too-human qualities of the "most powerful man on Earth."

Through use of the telephone and voiceovers, Little also gets a chance to do Henry Kissinger, Jimmy Stewart, David Brinkley, Walter Cronkite and the Rat Pack (Dean, Sammy, and Frank). He does not, however, do Marilyn Monroe.

The Presidents was written by Ron Nessen (Gerald Ford's press secretary, Washington "insider," novelist, and former NBC news correspondent) and Loren Paul Caplin (New York playwright and screenwriter, whose credits include Paramount, Columbia, TriStar, the Long Wharf Theater, the WPA Theater in NYC and many others.)

Rich Little conceived the idea for The Presidents, and also participated in the writing of the play. The production was developed by Cherry County Playhouse Director Bill Castellino, who directed this play as he has more than twenty new works across the country and around the world.

The Presidents originally opened at the Cherry County Playhouse in Muskegon, Michigan, and also played the Helen Hayes Theater in Nyack, New York, and Theaterfest in Montclair, New Jersey, to standing ovations.
